Dr. Chen is also the Principal Investigator for the NCI-funded National Center for Reducing Cancer Health Disparities that include collaborating academic and community entities. The mission of this National Center coincides with EMPaCTs to reduce health dipartites through increasing the proportion of racial/ethnic populations in clinical trials.

Ms. Dang has a BA in English from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Public Health degree from San Jose State University. She is also a certified health educational specialist.
